Father, I sometimes am a stubborn child. I tend to have things my own way. And sometimes I forget that I need to submit to others, especially those that are above me. I need to remember and learn, Lord that I am serving You, not men. I am serving the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. And my focus must be that way always: To serve others wholeheartedly as if I were serving You.

Help me have a pure and happy heart to achieve Your plans for me in that school, O Father. I know that You will reward me for whatever good I do. Whether I am a "slave" or a "master", I put my hope in You, and I want to see Your Name glorified. May I bring You joy in all the things I do. May I earnestly seek Your face with the love and life You deserve from me. Help me mark my days well so that men will see You through me.. § Ephesians 6:7-8

I want the wisdom and knowledge that comes from You, Father. You have placed me in a position of authority and influence. I want to set a good example. I want to be a role model for these children. Let bygones be bygones. May I get over "discriminating" thoughts against me, real or imagined.

In the name of Jesus I rebuke those thoughts, for Your love and strength is more than enough for me. Thank You for the comfort.

I wish to build a good name for Your glory, Lord. I will work hard, make me excellent for You in everything I do! I am always doing gunshot prayers --- lead me back into the quiet room. Remind me always, Lord: To be slow to speak, to be quick to listen, slow to get angry. For my anger does not bring about the righteous life that You desire. I will get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, and humbly accept the word planted in me which can help me, which can save me.
